In 2023 London + Culture Calling embarked on a long-term project to work with the The Audience Agency on a range of projects to improve and develop our services for the benefit of our clients.
The first of these saw the revamp some of our London distribution services using their Audience Spectrum profiling tool. New networks, including Metroculturals and Experience Seekers, were launched to target culturally engaged Londoners in their local neighbourhoods. These were followed by Commuterland Culturebuffs and Dormitory Dependables, which extended our Audience Spectrum services out to the Southern Home Counties. Over the coming months we’ll be rolling out AS networks in other areas starting with Manchester.
We commissioned The Audience Agency to conduct extensive research into our digital audience, including visitors to our popular What’s On site culturecalling.com, e-marketing subscribers and social media followers. Our survey garnered an excellent response rate and a robust sample size. The findings allow us to better understand the motivations, interests, and profile of our subscribers and visitors, which will feed into the expansion and development of our digital offering and improved targeting for our clients. Results are just in and will be shared with our clients over the coming months.
We also wanted to take advantage of The Audience Agency’s Cultural Participation Monitor to gain a deeper understanding of the value of print-based marketing in the 21st Century. Research is currently in progress and we’re looking forward to presenting the results of this survey in the summer!
