The power of print
London + Culture Calling has over 30 years’ experience in providing leaflet distribution and poster display for the arts, leisure and tourist sectors.
Print in the 21st century
Print still holds a vital place in the marketer’s toolkit, enabling you to reach new audiences and reinforce your brand identity. And the key to running a successful print marketing campaign lies in ensuring your print finds its way to the right people.
At London + Culture Calling we continue to invest in print distribution to ensure our service is flexible, targeted and effective. Collaborating with industry experts at The Audience Agency has given us sound understanding of the behaviour and attitudes of different audience groups and the best ways to reach them.
We offer print display opportunities with over 20,000 venue partners across the UK. Our display outlets range from high-footfall information centres, visitor attractions, universities and arts venues to grass roots outlets such as retailers, cafes, bars and restaurants.
With in-house promo staff and professional letterbox marketing teams on call, we can devise and implement cost-effective, tailored print campaigns to meet your marketing objectives.

ALMEIDA THEATRE/
KING LEAR
CAMPAIGN OVERIEW
THE BRIEF
The Almeida is a small but mighty player on the London stage, making exciting and challenging theatre ranging from bold new work to reinvigorated classics.
We were briefed to find an audience for Yaël Farber’s new production of Shakespeare’s King Lear, starring Danny Sapani.
THE CAMPAIGN
To draw on strong local support for the Almeida Theatre, we focused on affluent North London neighbourhoods with a high index for cultural participation. A6 postcards and A3 postcards were distributed to a range of venues across Angel, Islington, Highbury, Hoxton, Shoreditch, Hampstead, Highgate and Camden.
To target a literary audience we printed a bookmark which was distributed to independent booksellers and libraries across North and East London.
THE RESULT
All print was distributed to relevant locations with the agreed distribution. The show sold out.
THE SCOPE
DURATION: | 4 weeks |
LOCATION: | North & Central London |

BRIGHTON DOME AND FESTIVAL/
BRIGHTON FESTIVAL 2024
CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
THE BRIEF
Brighton Festival is the biggest curated cross-arts festival in England, appealing to a wide range of audiences.
Due to the scope and variety of events on offer at Brighton Festival, the brochure is an integral part of its marketing strategy, allowing the festival to present its programme in full, vital for engaging new and existing audiences across East and West Sussex, and driving ticket sales.
THE CAMPAIGN
Culture Calling created a bespoke print distribution campaign which included distribution of brochures to our core Brighton and Sussex Networks, along with targeted Neighbourhood Runs to reach towns and villages county-wide. Print was displayed in custom-made holders and dumpbins in high-footfall venues, with Top Tiers used to boost the festival’s profile in key outlets.
To spread the word further afield, the festival was promoted online via www.culturecalling.com and in our e-newsletter to 70,000 subscribers.
THE RESULT
Over 24,000 programmes were delivered in the first week of the campaign. Distribution is ongoing with regular or weekly top-ups to hundreds of venues across the distribution area until festival starts in May.
